Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 72.6/100, a mean average of 72.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.2.

It`s filler, but you can`t go wrong with their vocal harmonies!
This was bad 60 years ago and is even worse today.
Written by the Brill Building songwriting team of Gerry Goffin and Carole King, ‘Chains’ remained in The Beatles’ live repertoire for only a short time and was jettisoned once they assembled a superior set of their own songs. It’s nothing more than filler, but it at least throws in some good harmonies and gives George a chance to sing on this album, so it has that going for it.
Surely one of the most throwaway on the album. I don't really get any enjoyment from this.
A very slight song. Basically a twelve bar with extremely twee lyrics. Even as filler it seems incredibly lightweight and considering it's a cover you wonder why the Beatles bothered to record it. One of the album's most disappointing tracks.
My least favourite track on the album. Solid harmonies, though.
I can tell Elvis had SOME kind of influence on them.
This one is decent. Could have been a bit longer though. Maybe a short solo or something?
